ADITH is a rarest flowering of Mangalorean chess. He is uncompromising in style and very aggressive on the board. It’s a treat to watch him on the board. His Rating of 2162 is a testimony of his strength in chess beyond in Karnataka as the nearest rating in his category will be at least 60 points down. Securing international acclaims in 2 years is almost nearly impossible task, that too in category like Under 12 where the players will have started chess at the age of 5, with 7 years amassed experience!

Master Adith Jagadish has won 1st in Boys’ Under 12 Category in the prestigious ‘Celebrating 10’ Chess Challenge 2006 organized by INTCHESS and Singapore Chess Federation on 24th December 2006. ‘Celebrating 10’ was an International Open Rapid event which was participated by a Grandmaster, many strong International Masters, FIDE Masters and players from different countries. He also secured very impressive 5th position in the Under 13 Open category in the 2nd Asian School Chess Championship organized from 17th to 23rd December 2006 by Singapore Chess Federation at ASEAN Chess Academy, Singapore.
